  Far from perfect, but I live across the road and so it's the ideal local. Plus it's usually deserted and the drinks seem to be £3 tops, so it's usually a great place to drink, and play pool/darts and watch sport.

  This has got to be without question one of the worst institutions I have ever encountered in my life. The research computers crashed almost every time I was in this university and when it came to asking the lecturers for guidance or advice they basically ignored me and walked away in the other direction. The east coast of Scotland was not a friendly place in the slightest and if you were not in the clan then you were looked at as if you were some kind of misfit, these people were very strange indeed. The student union connected to the university was well over priced, student unions are supposed to be affordable places but I soon found if I went to the town centre I could eat and drink for far cheaper than the prices in the student union. If you were thinking of enrolling for this place I would seriously think twice about it especially if you are funding your studies yourself. I thought the set up in this place was appalling.............BEWARE!
